Is it worth it? Here's how to tell.
AI isn't worth it for every shop, and we'll say so if it isn't for yours. Start with your own numbers, then read the parts most companies leave out.
$3,900
a month in work you didn't get
- About
- 8.7 jobs a month going somewhere else
- Or roughly
- $46,800 a year
A rough estimate, not a promise. Some callers ring back and some were never going to book. If the number's small, you probably don't need us.
Where it pays off
Calls you couldn't have answered anyway
The value isn't in replacing anyone. It's in the calls that ring out while you're on a job, at lunch or after you've closed. Those are the ones that currently go to the next shop.
Being the one who replies first
When someone needs a repair, they usually contact a few places and go with whoever gets back to them. A reply in seconds puts you at the front of that line.
Follow-ups that actually happen
Most shops mean to follow up on quotes and web leads. Few do it consistently, because the busy weeks are exactly when it slips. An agent doesn't get busy.
Your evenings back
Typing quotes and returning messages after closing adds up. Even if it doesn't win a single extra job, getting that time back is worth something.
When it's not worth it
We'd rather lose the sale than set up something you don't need.
You rarely miss calls
If someone at the front desk answers almost every call, a missed-call agent won't change much.
You're already booked solid
If you're turning work away, more leads won't help. Raising your prices probably will.
Your work comes from a few regular clients
If most of your jobs come from a handful of commercial accounts who call your cell, there's not much to catch.
What it won't do
Replace your people
It handles the routine back-and-forth so your team can deal with the customers in front of them. Anything tricky goes to a person.
Get everything right
It will occasionally misunderstand someone. That's why it only works from what you've approved, hands off when it isn't sure, and why we read through conversations, especially early on.
Fix the rest of your business
It gets more people talking to you. It won't make a bad job good or turn around bad reviews.
How you'll know if it's working
Once it's live you get a simple count each week: calls it texted back, leads it replied to, and jobs it booked. If those numbers don't cover what you're paying, tell us and we'll switch it off.
Stop losing jobs to voicemail.
